“Severing poor is to serve god”
We can never deny that we are blessed by a wonderful family and our basic needs are being met. There is always at least one person to share all our feelings. But have we ever thought about those tiny hearts which wants for the warm hug of a mother? Whose every day basic needs are met by the help of others?
Description of this organization:
‘Mektha’ is derived from a pali language which means showing kindness right from our heart, accepting anyone as a friend and showing true love and care etc.
‘Maitri’ is derived from Sanskrit which has the same meaning as that of ‘Mektha’.
Objective of this organization:
· The main motive to start this programme is to make those children come out of their current mental problems they face and make them know what true life is.
· We consider them one among our own brothers and sisters and show them the true love which they dint get through their parents.
An initiative to help orphaned children
I extend my gratitude to all the kind hearts for their response to this charity program to help the orphaned children with basic amenities and education. This is a document which gives an overview about our proceedings.
As of now we have planned to go to an orphanage home near kallikuppam, ambattur ( not yet confirmed though). We are going for a half day visit to that orphanage home cum school and we are going to spend those precious time with those lovely kids who need our love.
It’s very true that our money is going to help to fulfill the needs of the children but more than that the lovable words and motivational talks from us will definitely live in their hearts as colorful buds of confidence.
PROCESS:
The place where we are going is not yet finalized. Suggestions are invited.
· Sponsors are being collected.
· And as a part of this programme, it can be only effective when each member contributes a minimum of 100 bugs.
· We have planned for a one day visit to an orphanage school or home. It will be mostly on the month of july. Most preferably it will be on a Saturday or a sunday.
· We are having an idea of having many cultural events like dance, singing, skits and many games to make those children and the interested people can take part.
· As of now we are planning for some 100 to 150 members. So we are planning an amount of 15000 bugs. With that we will provide those students with all basic amenities, study materials etc.
· For example if we had collected 15000 bugs the amount will be splitted as follows.
*10000 for education and other basic amenities for the welfare of the orphanage home.
*Rest of the amount will be spent in getting dresses for all kids and for lunch.
· Proofs regarding the money spend will be shown .
· I request all the sponsors to turn up on that day to make this program a complete success.
FEATURES OF THIS PROGRAMME:
· There is No one called leader. All will be treated equal.
· Unity is our motto.
Last but not the least, I should thank my friends without whom I could not have started this initiative process. Also a big thanks goes to all the committee heads for helping and guiding me towards the success of this programme
